Review Guidelines

Firsthand experience only

Reviews must reflect your own experience living at or dealing with this address. Don't write about places you've only heard about, or submit claims you can't personally verify.

Stick to facts and your honest opinion

Share what actually happened: rent, repairs, deposits, noise, pests, and how the landlord or manager responded. It's fine to be critical, but keep it grounded in what you experienced.

Don't name or identify private individuals

You may name the landlord, property management company, or property owner by its business name. Do not name private individuals such as neighbors, roommates, maintenance workers, or on-site staff. Never include anyone's home address, phone number, email, or other private contact information.

No discriminatory content

We don't allow content that attacks people based on race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

One review per property per person

Each renter may leave one review per address. If your experience changes, you can update your existing review instead of posting a new one.

We moderate and may remove reviews

We reserve the right to remove or edit reviews that violate these guidelines, appear false or abusive, or include private information. We may also request changes before publishing.

Landlords can respond, but never pay to remove reviews

In the future, landlords may be able to post a public response to reviews. They cannot pay to remove, suppress, or alter reviews. Ever.
